Roger Bootle is the founder and chairman of Capital Economics, one of the largest macro-economics consultancies in the world. He is also an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a regular columnist for The Daily Telegraph. Roger was a Specialist Adviser to the House of Commons Treasury Committee for twenty years from 1997 to 2017. Under Chancellor Kenneth Clarke, he was appointed to the panel of Independent Economic Advisers, the so-called “Wise Men”. He was formerly Group Chief Economist of HSBC and a Visiting Professor at Manchester Business School. In 2012, he was named Economics Commentator of the Year and, together with a team from Capital Economics, won the Wolfson Prize. He has also written several books, including his widely acclaimed latest book, Making a Success of Brexit, and the prophetic The Death of Inflation, published in 1996. He appears frequently on television and radio.

Luigi Lazzareschi is the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of all Italian and foreign companies of the Sofidel Group, the sixth largest manufacturer of tissue paper in the world (the second in Europe). 

Working in Sofidel since 1988, Luigi Lazzareschi paves the way for the growth of the Regina brand. In 1993, with the death of his father Giuseppe (co-founder of the Group with Emi Stefani), he takes over his responsibilities, guiding the next phase of expansion and internationalisation.

In 2012 he takes another historic step: the extension of production and commercial activities to the United States.

Over these years he takes the decision to make sustainability a strategic lever for development and innovation. As a result of this commitment, in 2016 he is appointed Ambassador for the 50th anniversary of WWF Italy.

In 2018, Luigi Lazzareschi has been inducted in the Paper International Hall of Fame (PIHF), the small number of big names in the global tissue production industry. An induction that rewards his efforts in pursuing sustainable development and in expanding the business of the Group.

Tommy Wiksand is the head of business development for the paper division at Holmen, a Swedish forest industry group that manufactures paperboard, print paper and wood products.

Holmen Paper is a leading brand within sustainable, fresh-fibre based paper for the book, magazine and retail market. Via two Swedish production sites and seven European sales offices the company provides innovative solutions to customers across the globe.

Tommy Wiksand has been worked in Holmen since the mid-1990s and has held a number of positions in sales and marketing. Since 2012 he has been leading the business development team and been one of the driving forces in transforming the paper division from a newspaper supplier to a specialty producer. Innovation and change have been key factors when reinventing a traditional company to meet tomorrow’s expectations.

Oliver is an industry analyst and consultant with more than 20 years' experience in the international pulp and paper industry. He has been with Hawkins Wright since 2007, working as one of the editors of Pulpwatch, Hawkins Wright’s monthly newsletter, the co-author of the Outlook for Market Pulp service, and the principal author of the Outlook for Dissolving Pulp. Prior to joining the company, Oliver worked as an analyst with the Pulp and Paper Products Council (PPPC) in Montreal, Canada.
Oliver has lead multiple consultancy projects including feasibility studies for pulp mills in Latin America, Russia and South East Asia. He presents frequently at industry gatherings.
